Four years later, with the image and consumer perception of that quintessentially English brand substantially changed, and the Company’s main product families growing strongly, he has decided to move on to more entrepreneurial activities and will be leaving the Richemont Group at the end of March 2006. Simon Critchell’s career has given him considerable exposure to retail and wholesale distribution in a variety of luxury products and markets. He holds strong views on the importance of exclusivity in the marketing of luxury goods. In New York, Simon Critchell sat on the board of several jewelery industry associations, as well as the Board of the New York Academy of Art. He was also a member of the Corporate Council of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Simon
Critchell was the first outside investor to recognize the potential of
PRESCRIBEDsolutions
in 2003: both the uniqueness of the proposition and the talent of its
management.
